The
Eternal Church of God - Its
Vision and Goals |
65:10
 |
Is the commission to preach the gospel as a witness over?
Is the work finished? These two questions have ignited a great debate
within God's Church. This inspiring message examines this vital issue and
explains in plain language why God raised up a Church and the role that Church
is to play in fulfilling God's plan. This message also identifies the
Eternal Church of God and its approach to fulfilling the great two-fold
commission given to God's Church.

Healing
in the World to Come |
48:22
 |
Healing is a virtual window into the mind of God. It stems
from mercy which is one
of the weightier matters of the law. It is the essence of love, the foundation
of compassion and the outcome of what mercy truly is. The Sabbath itself
pictures a time of incredible healing, peace and rest, and therefore is insight as
to what the Kingdom of God will be like. Our earth is sick with illness and disease and the world
is poised for the pale horse to ride and ride hard! One day, all of this sickness, suffering and death will come to an end. This message is a
powerful proclamation of the gospel and the incredible healing that will occur in the world to come.

The
Passover from the Beginning |
62:26
 |
This outstanding message examines the history of the Passover
down through the ages. It explains that although the command to keep this
day was given to the children of Israel, the lesson it teaches originated
centuries before. It explains God's purpose for creating the astronomical
bodies in the universe and how they were designed to be used for God's holy days—this, even before man was created. It also examines champions such as Enoch and Abraham and how
events in their lives pictured a great sacrifice that would be made on the 14th
of Nisan in 31 A.D. This message will bring profound insight into the
importance of the Passover and how God measures its significance.

God Saves the Best for Last |
52:42
 |
Every part of God's plan is
essential. Every part is valuable and important. What is so great about the last great day? When we view the
entire plan of God, it becomes obvious that one single truth rings out. God
saves the best for last.

57:22
 |
Throughout history, the greatest civilizations
succumbed in large part because they became self-indulgent. Has this
happened to the United States and the western world? Has our obsession
with entertainment and recreation eroded our national character? And most
importantly, are God's people becoming distracted by the cares of this world? This message examines these questions and challenges God's
people to guard against being enticed by this world and its ways and to be a
lover of God more than a lover of pleasure.

|
51:41
 |
While the vast majority of the Christian world sees Jesus
Christ as loving and compassionate, few Christians understand the enormity of
these qualities in God the Father. This inspiring Sabbath message, delivered just before Father's Day, explores the relationship between Jesus Christ and God the Father. This relationship was deeply intimate and personal and is the same kind of relationship God wants to have with all of His children. It explores the great mercy and compassion of God
the Father and how that compassion is expressed. It traces God's love
through trials and what God ultimately hopes for and is working out in His
family.

Names are of great importance, and a good name is something to be sought after. In our journey of life we sometimes do good and other times wrong. In so doing we build our reputation and that becomes synonymous with our name. No matter how bad our name may have become in this life, the God that redeemed our life is going to redeem our name. He will one day give us a new name, and that name will give us a new identity that will carry the power, authority, dignity and majesty of God for all eternity. What will that name be like. Listen to this sermon and consider what your new name might be.

42:12
 |
Attitude is foundational to all the success we experience in
our lives. Socially, professionally and in your family, attitude can make a world of difference. The Bible describes your attitude as the position of the heart. This first part of a two part series examines the importance of having a good
Christian attitude and how most of the world are unknowingly influenced by
Satan's broadcast attitude of hate and greed. This is a valuable lesson
for all to hear and learn.
|
 |
|
46:23
 |
The Bible is filled with verses that contain paradox. These are sayings in which apparently contradictory statements are nonetheless true. For example, we are told that the first are last, we are strongest when we are weak, and we must lose our lives to save our lives. What does all this mean? Why is there so much paradox in the Bible and what does God want us to learn from such statements. This sermon may forever change the way you look at life.

Leadership Now and in the Kingdom |
62:50
 |
There are books, video, cd, and tape messages by the hundreds all talking about leadership. But what about Christian leadership? Do pin stripe suits and power ties make us God’s leaders of the people? Is it simply being more organized? Is it having the right brief case, and wing tip shoes? Is it doing the important 20% that gains us 80%, or is there something deeper that Godly leadership must have? We are in training to be leaders in the world to come. So, what attributes should we be striving for? Listen and understand some vital principles of Christian leadership.

 |
|
47:22
 |
During the ministry of Jesus Christ He was asked the question
"What is the greatest commandment?" The significance of this question
represents the single most important thing that we can do to attain the Kingdom
of God. The answer Christ gave is so profound that few realize its
magnitude and even fewer fully understand the depth of its meaning. How
can we learn to understand and keep this great commandment?
|
 |
You
Can Make A Difference |
50:54
 |
This
inspiring message reveals the power of small acts. While most people think
power lies in size and strength, God sees it much differently. This sermon
is an exhortation to all of God's people to see how the small things they do can
have a profound effect on the world around them. Those who hear this
message will re-think the things they do and never regard them as
inconsequential.

 |
Tear Down the High Places |
42:57
 |
It is hard to imagine any of God's people bowing down to Molech, Dagon or Baal, but is it possible that we can be guilty of worshipping false gods? In light of the first great commandment, this message opens our eyes to areas of our life where we may be putting other things ahead of our worship and respect to God and His ways.

|
61:34
 |
Ever since 911, the Muslims and the Arab peoples have been a focus of American News. Who are these people? Why do they hate us so? And, what does the Bible say about them in prophecy? Do they play a role in end time events. If so, what is that role? You need to know.
|
 |
|
50:31
 |
What is your long term goal and what are your short term goals? Are they goals that will help you to obtain the Kingdom of God or are they a
distraction? We are designed by God to have a purpose in life, and where you go
in the hereafter, will depend on what you go after here. The Kingdom of God must be the single
most important issue that
motivates us and we must have correct, clear
and defined goals in order to succeed. God has given us our long term goal and He has shown us the
short term goals which are the way to obtain it. This extremely important
message describes them and how to stay on track, continually seeking
the Kingdom of God.

|
55:09
 |
The second of a two part sermon, this message continues the dicussion of our culture where winning is everything. Because of this, people want to identify themselves with winners. With catch phrases like "win at all costs" and "nice guys finish last." some people will do just about anything to win. Where did this attitude of exalting ones self at the expense of others come from. Using many examples of modern sports, this second part of a two part series explains the wrong kind of competition and how it affects everyone of us.

Be Ye Holy - The Day of Atonement |
42:53
 |
No sermon on the day of Atonement should be complete without addressing the subject of holiness. God is holy, and He has told us to be a holy people as he is holy. But, what exactly is the holiness of God and how do we attain it? Do we really understand this vital concept to a Christian life? This sermon will help you to know.
|
 |
|
50:18
 |
Nearly the entire professing Christian community rejects the law of God. They instead teaching that the Old Covenant is done away. This is a terrible mistake. But, there are many in the Church of God who believe that the sacrifices have been done away? While the physical act of offering a live animal to God has stopped, these sacrifices are now to be understood in their spiritual intent and should be reflected in our lives. The very mind of Christ is understood by understanding sacrifice. This message will help you to grasp the importance of living our lives as a spiritual sacrifice.

Between the Days of Unleavened Bread |
49:38
 |
We celebrate the high holy days that are like book ends on the days of unleavened
bread. Those days are rich in symbolism, but what about the days in between
the holy days? Do these days have any meaning for us? Is there symbolism
in these days too? If so, what is the message for us during these days that
are not holy convocations?
|
 |
|
47:37
 |
As a result of sin—the world we live in is filled with ugliness. Greed, pollution, crime, envy, hatred and disease have resulted in physical filth and unsightly behaviors that are running rampant. It becomes clear that sin leads to ugliness and disorder. There is, however, a narrow path that leads to order and great beauty. This message explains how the beauty of holiness is something worth seeking and how it will endure, being not only skin deep.
|
 |
|
42:23
 |
In a world filled with
violence and crime, our societies seem to be fascinated by the idea of
superheroes. Characters like Superman, Spiderman, and the Equalizer are
just a few examples of our desire for a powerful
being that is looking out for our welfare. Is it possible that we truly
can have someone that is all powerful on our side who can conquer any
evil? This message explains how God searches the earth and longs to be
strong for those who commit themselves to Him and keep His commandments.
|
 |
|
54:53
 |
As Christians we are converted and there is a change
that is to take place. This conversion is not just a momentary change, but
a process that happens over a lifetime. We are made in God's
image physically and one day we will be changed to His image spiritually, but
how do we get there? Just as children imitate their parents we
instinctively imitate the people we admire. Who do we admire and who do we
imitate?

|
54:03
 |
From the turning of water to blood to the death of the first born.
From the Passover lamb to unleavened bread. The miracles, plagues and
events that took place in Egypt not only prove that God is the only true God,
they were each individually chosen and executed by Him for specific
reasons. As we look at the story of the children of Israel's exodus from
Egypt, there are many lessons that parallel our lives and that we can learn from
today. This message given on the First Day of Unleavened Bread explains the profound meaning of each one of God's plagues in Egypt and what this remarkable event has to do with you.
|
 |
|
43:53
 |
This message is fittingly part two of the sermon on attitude. It brings to
attention
a hidden enemy in your home, posing the
question; are you growing up or just getting older. Discussed are the weaknesses
we have in our emotions and how they directly relate to our spirituality. This message
gives you steps on how to strengthen emotional weakness, and mature
spirituality through God and His Word.

42:32
 |
As Christmas time rolls around every year, consider a humorous, and yet deeply profound aspect of this holiday. Millions of people at this time of year scurry around, almost frantically searching the department stores trying desperately to find the perfect gift for the person who already has everything! Pagan as it is, Christmas time, with all its attendant materialism might just be the time for us to think! How much have you been blessed? And, how much we need to give to others in need?
|
 |
|
46:25
 |
The first of a two part sermon, this message considers the fact that we live in a very competitive world. Both man and beast compete not only for game, but a survival of the fittest. Will there be competition in the millennium and if so what kind. The answer lies in the defining forms thereof. This first part of a two part message defines competition and looks at the good and godly forms of it.

63:27
 |
God has made Himself invisible to man for a specific reason. As a result of this phenomena, we live in a world that is blind to the true God. But how about us? Do we really see Him? Do we see Him working in our lives? What about those times when we experience difficulties and troubles? Do we see Him preparing a way of escape? Do we see His solution to our problems, or do we only see our own perspective? This message addresses why God is invisible and it helps us to have the spiritual vision to see God in our lives.

Seek Immortality - The Feast of Trumpets |
40:22
 |
From the beginning of time, man has feared death. Throughout the ages, many have sought various ways in hopes of living forever. Today, man is using modern technology through DNA and stem cell research in a continued quest for a fountain of youth. Ironically there is a means to immortality and God has even told us how to seek it, but man does not want to do it God’s way. What about us? Are we seeking immortality and are we striving to do it the only way that will ultimately lead to success? This message will help us to grasp the answers to these questions.

67:22
 |
Today there are those who
ridicule the idea of Church eras, but could it be that there is in fact evidence
of Church eras in the Bible? The book of Revelation in chapters two and
three speak directly to seven Churches. Is this only referring to the time
of John, or is this representative of Churches that have existed down
through the ages unto this very day? Could the Churches of God written of by
John be a reflection of God's Church from the Old Testament, to the time of
Jesus and on to the time of Christ's return? Although this may not be an
issue of whether you are saved or not, it could be an issue of what you are
saved from!

The book of Isaiah reveals numerous prophecies concerning the Kingdom of God.
Some of these prophecies tell us of a highway that will exist during the millennial
reign of Jesus Christ and will lead the ransomed of the Lord to Zion. What exactly is
this highway? What is its purpose and who shall travel it? This
message not only explains these things it also reveals how this highway relates to
our lives today. We can learn many things from this future thoroughfare
that will help us as we strive to walk in the way of holiness.

40:27
 |
Why were you born? This is a question that only the Church of God has fully understood, but is the answer only contained in the concept of ruling in God’s family, or does it have another more immediate practical application? Certainly the example of Jesus was that He went around doing good works. What about us? The Bible tells us that we were created for this purpose, but are we fulfilling it? Listen to this inspiring perspective regarding what we were created for.

 |
|
52:49
 |
In the book of Galatians, God makes reference to the works of the flesh and compares those to the fruits of the Spirit. We are to have love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness , faith, and meekness. But—what are these traits? What do they look like as we apply them in real life? This message helps us understand.

|
43:40
 |
Jesus said, "That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." Was this simply another indictment of the Pharisees or is it possible that this was an important instruction for the disciples as well as a warning of the people of God today? This sermon takes a close look at the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, comparing it with the Church of God both collectively and individually. This is an important message for the body of Christ as a whole and each individual member.

53:39
 |
We live in a world that is going so fast that it is hard to keep up. Life
was not always like this. It has been sped up by God's enemy and for a
profound purpose. It is to keep us distracted, ruled by the "tyranny of the
urgent!" We need to put the hours of our days in perspective, and redeem
the time and this message helps to explain how we can.

48:49
 |
God is the Almighty sovereign. He is all powerful and there is nothing He cannot do (Luke 1:37). So why don’t we really trust Him? Why do we worry, and why are we anxious? Why do we agonize over the problems and trials of life? It is because of the single greatest fallacy perpetrated upon man. From the time of Satan in the garden, we have trivialized God! Today, in the movies, television and magazines He is mocked, ridiculed, and treated as not even being real. Because he is invisible to the world, the world acts as if He can’t see them. What about us? Do we understand God’s presence and power? Do we understand His complete sovereignty in our lives? Build your faith by listening to this message.

 |
|
47:23
 |
The very purpose of a Christian life is to have a personal relationship with
God. Jesus Christ proclaimed that the way to eternal life is to know God
and Jesus Christ whom He had sent, but how many of us truly seek this kind of
intimacy with our creator? Many who profess Christ do not really,
personally know Him and the truth is that we are only as close to God as we want
to be. God wants to be close to us and He desires that we seek an intimate
relationship with Him. Do you really want to personally know our great God?

Part 2

This two part message discusses what could be one of the
most important issues facing the Church of God in our age, buying and selling on
the Sabbath. Dining out at restaurants on God’s holy days has become a
controversial subject among leaders and members alike. The first part of this message gives
seven Biblical keys, each of which open the mind to understand the obvious truth
that God’s fourth commandment prohibits Christians from dining out at
restaurants on the Sabbath. The second part of
this series explains the seven
most common reasons given to advocate dining out on the Sabbath. They are discussed
and rebutted based on scripture and Biblical principles revealing their folly.

45:01
 |
War is never pretty and there always suffering. What’s more, every true Christian is at war. While there may not be bombs going off around us, our spiritual battle is real and people can get hurt, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. There is a common occurrence in any war that is one of the most difficult things to understand and cope with. This great tragedy is friendly fire, brother shooting brother. There are times when we verbally or mentally fire at one another and we generally recover, but sometimes people get wounded again and again and are deeply hurt. We hurt the ones we love and this is something we must learn to control in order to minimize the damage we might do to others as we fight our war with sin.

The experience of ancient Israel was written for us who live at the end of
the age. As Israel came out of Egypt what was the message God gave to them? What is the lesson for us today? Faced with enormous difficulties,
trials, and even trapped at the Red Sea, God's message rings out from their
day to ours, "Go Forward."

A Christian Passover Ceremony |
50:12

|
The Christian Passover is one of the most solemn and meaningful of all God's
Holy Day observances. So important is this service that individuals
missing the opportunity to celebrate Passover due to illness or travel in the
first month, are instructed by the Almighty to keep this exact same service in
the second month. This is the audio to accompany our booklet that will help to explain
the profound meaning of this Holy and humbling ceremony and will walk you
through every step of a Christian Passover.

46:09
 |
Every year at Passover, we are told to examine ourselves. But what should
we examine? This message presents seven vital questions that we should ask
ourselves before we take the Passover. This year, before reconfirming our
covenant with our Creator and Savior, listen to this message, and consider
some of the questions it asks.

53:30
 |
We now find ourselves in a very unique time in all of human history. For the last few decades, we have been in what could be characterized as the "lull before the storm." Now that the prophesied apostasy has occurred, we are seemingly entering the beginning of the storm at the end. For many this has been a time of confusion, distress and fear, but it need not be. There is something about this time we are living in that we need to understand. It is something of the greatest magnitude. In fact, right now it is your time to do something. We were actually born for this time! There is an incredible window of opportunity for us to make a difference in who and what we will be for all eternity IF we do the right thing! This is a must hear for all of God's people.

38:52
 |
Integrity is the measure of who we really are in our inner core. It is the fabric of our character---our inner being. The Bible states that we will not only be judged by our works, but also by our integrity (Psalms 7:8). Further, this quality of each Christian is like everything else. If we don’t take the necessary steps to maintain it, we will lose it. What is integrity? How do we acquire it, and how do we maintain it? Listen to find out.

 |
|
48:36
 |
Jesus instructed us to watch and pray always that we might escape those things that will come upon the people at the end of the age. We are to watch world events. There some who believe that Jesus could return at any moment, but the Scriptures reveal that there are things that must occur before He returns. Could one of these things be the rebuilding of the temple? Will there be a physical temple built to which Christ will return, or is it only figurative? Will the sacrifices be reinstated? This sequel to the message titled The Man of Sin, deals with this subject which is something we should all be watching for and and considering.
|
 |
|
42:29
 |
The Bible describes a man of enormous evil that will
come to power at the end of the age. This man causes many of God's people
to break the covenant they have made with the Eternal, and even forces them to
turn their brethren over to the authorities. He will make leagues with
various nations and promise peace, but instead will bring the world devastating
war. Eventually he will take over the middle east and will sit in the
temple and claim that he is no less than God. Who is this man of sin?
Will we recognize this individual or are some going to be misled when this
happens?

Should We Vote - Was Jesus Conservative or
Liberal?
|
54:31
 |
Should Christians
participate in electing government leaders to office? Was Jesus Christ a conservative or a liberal?
If He were with us today, which way would He vote or would He vote at all? Does participation in the election
process result in solutions to the problems of this world or does
it encourage division between the people? Do politicians really say what
they believe or is it all smoke and mirrors just to get elected? What has the Church taught and believed in the past? Listen to find
out the answers to these questions.
|
 |
|
44:16
 |
We have a great dream---a magnificent obsession. We carry within our mind a vision of the Kingdom of God. We are in the process of making that dream become a reality, but it is ironic that the Church of God has a tendency to sleep when there in crisis. Like the apostles, Jesus Christ gave us a profound warning to watch and pray. Are we watching and praying? Or are we dreaming and it is because we are spiritually asleep? This message is a warning to us all. We are to be vigilant, alert and on guard to all that may threaten our character. It is time to wake up!
|
 |
|
48:49
 |
The Bible often uses clothing as a spiritual analogy of our character. It is referred to as filthy rags and also fine, white linen. In like manner, our clothing today is a reflection of who we are and what we are about. What would our clothes look like if they actually reflected what we are like on the inside? Would we have stains, spots and wrinkles? How can we clean our spiritual garments so that we may one day be arrayed in fine linen which is the righteousness of the saints?

Regain and Maintain Your First Love |
58:43
 |
When God revealed the truth to us and brought us into the Church, our calling was accompanied by enormous zeal. We were infused with what we would later come to call our first love. Do we still have that same kind of passion for God? What about second generation Christians? Because they were raised in the Church, they did not experience the dramatic change that first generation Christians do. Can they ever have that first love experience? Also, if we once were alive with that first blush of love for Christ and the Father, and it has now seemed to wane, is there a way to renew it? There is a way to regain or maintain our first love. This is a must hear message for Gods people living at the end of the age.

Small Triumphs in the Big Battle |
67:36
 |
In any war there are many battles to be fought in order to be triumphant. These battles have several fronts that are all important to claim as victories in order to be successful. In accepting Jesus Christ as our personal savior we have declared war on sin, the ways of this world and even our own selves. We have a vision of peace and the coming Kingdom of God and in order to be a part of that Kingdom we must fight many battles. This message discusses the tactics and strategies of our enemy (Satan) and how we can build our arsenal and put up defenses against this powerful adversary.

Make No Provision for the Flesh |
43:31
 |
Welsh poet Dylan Thomas once said, “When one burns one's bridges, what a nice fire it can make." In most cases we don’t want to burn our bridges with others, but there is a time to burn some of our bridges. There is a time to take action from which it is impossible to return. For example, we have said that we will leave sin behind, but do we leave a bridge back to that sin? If ever there was a time to irrevocably make a fateful and final decision to break off wrong habits, it is now. Listen to this fascinating message regarding the way we make a way to return to our old sin, by making provision for our flesh, and what we should do about it.

 |
The Pharisees, Laodecia and Us |
60:59
 |
There is a very real need to be aware of the status of the Church of God today. Where are we in prophecy and what does our time mean to us? A sequel to the message proving that there are church eras, what exactly do we need to be on guard against in this last era? In the sermon on eras, it was learned that the Old Testament eras mirrored those in the New Testament. The last era of the Old Testament was that of the Pharisees. What lessons can we learn from them to enable us to avoid falling into the mind set of the Laodecians, the last New Testament era? Jesus said our righteousness must exceed the righteousness of these Pharisees. What exactly was the righteousness of the Pharisees and how can we be certain to exceed that? Building upon evidence for Church Eras, this message gives us real examples of the Pharisees and the Laodecians and describes how they relate to us.

50:32
 |
Have you ever received a threatening letter? Have you gotten one from the IRS? How about a collection agency? How about one from your doctor? There are many kinds of letters we can receive, and many can be frightening, but what if you received a letter from the devil? One of the kings of Judah received one such piece of correspondence. How did he react, and what can we learn from his example?
|
 |
|
58:32
 |
In this famous parable, Jesus told of a man who found something of great value and how he sold everything he had to obtain this treasure. This sermon discusses the analogy raised by Jesus in asking, do we recognize the value of that Kingdom and are we willing to pay the price it takes to obtain it? The master counterfeiter (Satan) is trying to deceive us into believing that worldly things are more valuable than the Kingdom of God. All of us will pay the ultimate price for something, but what will that something be, the Kingdom of God or this world?

A Christian life is one of change and we spend a lot of time trying to change ourselves, but have you ever wanted to change somebody else? This message gives examples and explains the steps of how a change in ones self can lead to a change in those around us.

53:02
 |
For decades the Church of God taught that God had a seven thousand year plan. This doctrine was mocked by our former association, but is there merit to this teaching? Were we the only ones to believe this? Where did the teaching come from? Was it something we made up? Was it simply assumed? Or, was this a teaching held by God’s people before Jesus walked the earth? Was it taught by the early Church? What happened to cause this teaching to fade from popular thought? And, is there evidence that it is true and should be believed by us today? Listen and find out.

|
38:48
 |
Preceding the Sermon Grow in Knowledge, this message considers Peter’s last words to the Church where he encourages Christians everywhere to grow in grace and knowledge. But what does it mean to grow in grace? Isn't grace unmerited pardon? Are we to grow in unmerited pardon? What did the apostle Peter mean by this injunction? And, most important, how do we accomplish that?
|
 |
|
48:48
 |
A follow up sermon to Grow in Grace, we are also told by the apostle Peter to grow in knowledge. Does this mean that we should study to get degrees? Should we become experts in Greek and Hebrew? Must we become calendar experts? Did God expect us to all become scholars? What kind of knowledge did Peter want us to learn?

Most people take vision for granted, but have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a world without visions of beauty, light and colors? What is it like to be blind? The physical often represents the spiritual and therefore, while we may be able to see, how clouded is our spiritual lens? How much can we see spiritually? The gospel of John tells the story of a man who was born blind and in this there are many ironic twists, each of which are a twist of the knife in the belly of human nature. The story of the man born blind reminds us that there are those who are gaining sight by the correction of Jesus Christ and there are others who are closing their eyes by the choices they make. What about us? Are our choices blinding us in the Laodecian era?
